THURS, 20th FEB - Sleeping in until 10:00, it was off to (late) breakfast. We took e S Bahn a few stops and enjoyed a delightful snack.
Afterwards I shopped for some German work clothes (pants and shoes).
After getting back to the flat, it was time to pack bags and head to La Cave so Zach could start prepping the cheesecakes (Saturday's dessert). I relaxed bar side and tried out some wines that are new to me while chatting with Michael (owner).
And then after we put the cheesecakes in the Sous Vide baths: we had to relax for two hours waiting for them to cook.
As midnight rolled in, we were wrapping up and cheesecakes were in the fridge.
I dropped by and slipped into Salt n Bone for a few drinks on the way home. Even though they were technically closed (had just finished turning chairs up on the tables) I was allowed to stay; my new 'regular-when-in-Berlin' status. After paying for my two beers - and being gifted some shots - I got comfortable and settled in for some conversation and drinks with Andy (owner) and Ellie, which somehow or other took us to 04:00...
