Venice may be historic in a conventional sense, but Vernazza has a fantastic small town charm that is very inviting.
Arriving aound 4pm, I took Giuliano's (my host) advice and walked down to the harbor for a swim at the beach - a much needed refresh after 6.5 hours of train travel.
Weather here is like summer this moment and my arrival times out with the end of some rainy days. The next few days are bound to be relaxing enjoyment.
